About the role
Seaford Town Council has recently undergone a review of its staff structure and introduced several new roles to ensure more capacity within the team. This additional capacity will address skills gaps and gaps in areas of responsibility, future-proof the Town Council and ensure greater resilience within the structure.
The second phase of recruitment is now underway, with the following permanent roles being recruited:
Projects & Facilities Officers (full time) x 2
Projects & Facilities Assistant (part time)
Assets & Contracts Manager (part time)
HR & OD Manager (full time)
Each role will be empowered with its own areas of responsibility, where we encourage our staff to take ownership of their role and strive for continuous professional development. We can offer you the support of a warm and welcoming team who will help you navigate those first few weeks and months in post.
In exchange for your commitment and hard work, you’ll be offered a flexible working environment, a generous salary and pension package, salary qualification increments, ample holiday entitlement, sickness arrangements and parental leave, to name a few.
The Town Council will be navigating a period of strategic change in the coming years – from implementing and embedding its recently adopted revised staff structure to understanding and negotiating the impacts (and opportunities) that the recently announced local government reorganisation represent for parish and town councils. The introduction of the new posts is therefore vital in equipping the Town Council with the staffing capacity and skills it needs to thrive from the above whilst ensuring continued excellent service delivery and upkeep of its many assets and activities.
Closing date for applications: Sunday 16 March 2025 (midnight)
