This is a revised post to include the fresh challenges of today set through the Corporate Priorities for the next 3 years and beyond.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will assist the Housing Property Services Manager in ensuring safe, comfortable, affordable and sustainable homes for our customers. The small stock size ideally suites a candidate who is adapted to work on a wide variety of work streams and has the skills to motivate and drive their team to effectively develop the service in meeting all the objectives set out for Housing and the wider management team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>It is essential you have significant experience managing a team working on capital works programmes for a social housing provider and experience procuring and delivering planned maintenance and upgrade works contracts. You should also have experience and skills to collect, manipulate and report on asset data.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A minimum of HND level or equivalent qualification in a Construction or Building related subject is essential, ideally with experience in new technology for improving energy efficiency of the housing stock. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will be capable of effective communication with people at all levels both externally and within the organisation. You will have excellent IT skills with a proven ability to improve effective working methods and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages in your day to day work.
