The Development Services team within the Planning department are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team as Planning Officers.
The role of a Planning Officer at Blaby District Council is wide ranging and rewarding. You will be managing a caseload of householder and minor planning applications from registration and consultation through to determination, dealing with customer enquiries and providing advice on the need for planning permission.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and motivated and must work well in a team, be organised and able to prioritise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide high levels of customer service.
