Are you an experienced contract management professional looking for a challenging role where you can make a significant impact? Luton Rising is seeking a Development Contracts Manager to lead the procurement, negotiation, and enforcement of contracts within our Strategy & Development team. This is a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our strategic plans, and you'll be instrumental in managing relationships with contractors and maximizing revenue opportunities. Your work will be key to supporting our Head of Strategy & Development and other team members in commercial negotiations, contract preparation, and ensuring that contracts are enforced effectively.
As the principal contact for all contractors on contractual issues, you will oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring it aligns with Luton Rising's policies and legal requirements. You will also manage contractor performance, compliance, and payment certification. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for risk management and contract enforcement.
About you
In this role, you'll bring substantial experience in managing high-value operational contracts, particularly in environments where contractor relationships are crucial to business success. You will have a strong background in commercial negotiations, contract enforcement, and resolving construction-related contract disputes.
You'll be a strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders, demonstrating leadership skills, with a talent for influencing others without formal authority and inspiring high performance.
