This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the Council’s portfolio of venues to the general public and oversee key events such as Light Up Lancaster, Highest Point and Vintage By the Sea!\nThe post holder will have a collaborative approach and the ability to work with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders. They will be a strong communicator, with the ability to juggle priorities well and a focus on results. They will be self-motivated.\nIn this leadership role they will have overall accountability for effective people management within our venues and Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. They will have the ability to analyse data and interpret data sources effectively, producing key reports for the senior leadership team. They will have experience of managing large budgets and cost centres.\nThis role is permanent. The hours of work for this post are 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.\nFlexible working friendly – we offer a generous flexi-time scheme, and opportunity to work with your team to establish working hours to enable you to maximise your work-life balance.
