Stakeholder Engagement Lead

About the Role

This is a chance to join a talented team to deliver Bus Franchising for the Liverpool City Region as a key foundation for our ambition to have a modern, integrated and publicly controlled public transport system.

Bus franchising will give the city region greater control over all aspects of the bus offer including fares, routes and timetables and allow services to be better integrated with the wider transport system.

As the Stakeholder Engagement Lead you’ll be part of a large and dynamic team.  You’ll work closely with senior leaders and colleagues within the Franchising Programme to manage and enhance stakeholder engagement. Your role will ensure that our communications are clear, consistent and inclusive, making sure that key stakeholders both internal and external are actively involved and kept informed throughout the process

 

About the person

We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader with a proven track record in extensive stakeholder engagement, ideally within a public sector or transport focused environment.  You will have the ability to develop and implement an engagement strategy that ensures messaging is clear, consistent, inclusive and reaches a wide audience including hard to reach groups.
