Working within Housing Tenancy team you will deliver a high-quality customer focused service, working closely with other teams across the service e.g. Asset Management and Accommodation Support to identify incoming tenants and applicants who may need added support. The post is also responsible for assessing and supporting tenants who are at risk of eviction with the aim of preventing eviction if possible and providing advice on housing options.</p>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p>You should be educated to NVQ level 4/5 and have considerable experience of tenancy, housing assessment and support.  Working knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and core disciplines of work area is essential for this role.  Experience of partnership working and stakeholder engagement is desirable together with demonstrable experience and commitment to tenant involvement and empowerment. You must be an excellent communicator, be literate and ideally be able to use a range of Microsoft Office products and work specific software packages.</p>\n<p>St Albans is a unique English Cathedral City with a colourful history which can be seen in the Roman remains and variety of beautiful architecture, heritage sites and conservation areas. Set within green belt, off the M25, A1M and M1 the District includes a cathedral, vibrant city centre and thriving villages.
