Building Control Surveyor

Knowsley and Halton Councils shared Building Control service continues to grow with an increasing market share. An opportunity has arisen to join this dynamic team. You will be joining at a key time in this journey and you would play a key role in ensuring the partnership’s continued success

You will undertake a full range of building control duties across a variety of large and small-scale domestic and commercial projects.  You will also respond to emergency call outs across both Halton and Knowsley to investigate and recommend action in relation to dangerous structures

A degree in Building Control or a relevant subject is required and you must be registered as RBI level 2 A-F minimum as well as having experience of managing a caseload of Building Control applications including plan checking and site inspection
