Join us and contribute to making a positive impact on our community.<br><br><strong>The Role</strong> <br> <br>The senior co-ordinator position within the Advanced Parenting Team at North Somerset Council offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Advanced Parenting offer. <strong>This is a fixed term position for 12 months.</strong><br><br>The temporary role involves coordination of groups and practitioners including, supervision and quality assurance responsibilities. The Senior role will be fundamental in supporting the development the parenting teams commitments. As they expand and develop the Parenting offer across North Somerset.<br><br>Working with the team Lead You will be responsible for overseeing projects bringing creativity and innovation to the role. Key responsibilities include Supporting the team lead with the roll out delivery and development of our existing Parenting offer, Oversee and support the development of new projects ensuring growth within the team, Link with our multi-agency partners to make sure we are connected to our early help partners within the wider team, work alongside the parenting coordinator to support the day to day running and delivery of groups.<br><br>The role involves coordination of groups and practitioners including, supervision and quality assurance responsibilities. The Senior role will be fundamental in supporting the development the parenting teams commitments as they expand and develop the Parenting offer across North Somerset.<br> <br>We are looking for an organised and passionate applicant who understands the importance of supporting parents at times when life can feel its most challenging. Therefore, an understanding of child development, trauma informed practice and strengths-based ways of working.
