Float Person/Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced Floatperson to work on the Dartmouth Lower Ferry. This position is shift work including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will be responsible in providing a safe and efficient means of transporting cars and passengers across the River Dart with responsibility and accountability for the safety of all passengers, the craft and other river users whilst in compliance with and with full knowledge of all relevant legislation regarding Health and Safety and the Maritime Coastguard Agency.You may also from time to time be required to assist with the maintenance of the ferry infrastructure.

The successful applicant must hold a PB2 & in date ML5 or ENG1. However, training can be arranged to achieve certificates.
