You will be at the heart of the service, contributing to the protection and well-being of vulnerable individuals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process referrals for DOLS assessments, adhering to statutory deadlines.</li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MCA-DOLS legislation and processes.</li>\n<li>Organize and coordinate multi-agency forums, producing accurate minutes and tracking actions.</li>\n<li>Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and healthcare professionals.</li>\n<li>Handle inquiries with sensitivity, providing advice and guidance to customers.</li>\n<li>Analyse data and produce statutory reports for various audiences.</li>\n<li>Maintain electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.</li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation and evaluation of processes and technology.</li>\n<li>Coordinate expense reimbursements for professional assessors.</li>\n<li>Adapt and design systems to support service delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area.</li>\n<li>Experience working in a business support environment.</li>\n<li>Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information.</li>\n<li>Experience servicing meetings, including accurate minute-taking at speed.</li>\n<li>Experience introducing new procedures.</li>\n<li>Experience presenting information verbally at meetings and briefings.</li>\n<li>Experience working in partnership with internal and external bodies.</li>\n<li>Good knowledge of national and local government policies.</li>\n<li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of information governance, data protection, health and safety, and risk management.</li>\n<li>An awareness of people facing personal problems.</li>\n<li>General awareness of Mental Capacity Act/Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards legislation.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage a challenging workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Good analytical skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is willing to work flexibly, undertake training, and align with the council's values.
