Area Property Surveyor (Maternity Cover)
Salary £37,938 to £42,708
1-year Fixed Term Contract (37 hours per week)
We are seeking an appropriately qualified property maintenance surveyor with experience in building construction, repair and maintenance works to social housing properties. Working in a team, headed by the Repairs, Void and Compliance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include carrying out property inspections which may relate to diagnosing and scheduling building repairs, disrepair claims and damp and mould related works.
All work should comply with current regulations including disrepair and current damp and mould legislation and completed to a high level of safe working.
The ability to work under pressure as part of a team is essential, and you will need to be able to demonstrate robust record keeping with the ability to work in partnership with a variety of contractors, housing colleagues and key stakeholders to achieve common goals. You will also need to be a good all-round communicator, have a positive and proactive attitude, and excellent customer service putting the heart of the customer at the centre of all we do.
Experience working in the social housing sector would also be beneficial.
