We are looking to appoint a calm, caring and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will be able to offer excellent support to our children in our small rural primary school. We have a big heart, a welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful setting.
We are looking for a committed team player who is flexible, positive, and has a hands-on approach to developing children’s learning.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at The Bythams School
Mixed Year Class: Reception, Year 1, and Year 2
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (39 weeks per year to include training days)
Working hours: 8.30 am-3.30 pm
Pay: G4 9-12 £23893 to £25119 pro rata; 32.5 hpw term time depending on experience

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our wonderful team. The successful candidate will work across a small mixed year group class consisting of Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children. You will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher, enhancing the early learning experience for all pupils, and delivering high-quality support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
