There is expectation that part of your week will be office based. </p>\n<b>Main Responsibilities</b><br><p>You will work as part of the Practice Excellence Team to and be expected:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>to lead in providing expert quality assurance analysis reports, guidance and support to staff to improve auditing across Children's Social Care includung:\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>quality assurance activity, quality assurance analysis, development and implementation of improvement plans following analysis.</li>\n\t\t<li> Improvement (process & change management within social work practice)</li>\n\t\t<li>Practice improvement across all levels of social work practice</li>\n\t\t<li>Co-production, staff engagement and training, to improve practice and develop professional social work skills.</li>\n\t</ul>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>to support the implementation of continuous improvement activity across Children’s Social Care relating to Social Work Practice.</li>\n\t<li>to promote and lead in line with our Children and Families vision, working in a relational and restorative way.  <strong> </strong>\n</li>\n\t<li>to engage all stakeholders to develop, review and implement innovative and effective quality assurance analysis and planning as as a relational leader </li>\n\t<li>to develop in-house auditing experts and support in promoting learning, practice improvement and staff development based upon audit analysis alongside the workforce development team. </li>\n\t<li>be confident in audit analysis and practice improvement to enable us to further build on a culture of learning.</li>\n\t<li>critically challenge social work practice and work with colleagues to effect change, improving standards of practice for children and families.</li>\n\t<li>work closely with colleagues across Children’s Social Care, and within the Intelligence, Performance and Engagement Team (IPET). </li>\n</ul>\n<b>The Ideal Candidate</b><br><p>You will have :</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>substantial social work post qualifying experience</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge of current best practice in social work and learning and development.</li>\n\t<li>Up to date knowledge of social work training and practice</li>\n\t<li>Understanding of auditing methodology including how to capture and report on learning, understanding operational and strategic requirements.</li>\n\t<li>Experience of overseeing, directing and evaluating social work practice, with an awareness of what excellent social work practice looks like.</li>\n\t<li>Experience of delivering a range of learning methods such as group training, coaching, mentoring and one to one support</li>\n\t<li>Experience of working within a team to provide an excellent service</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Interviews will be held on Monday 16th December 2024</strong></p>\n\n<p>Don’t feel you meet all the requirements?
