Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Primary
Location: The Element Primary Designated Provision, St George's Road, Wallasey CH45 6TU
Responsible To: Head of The Element
Salary Grade: Band G, scale point 19-24
Contract: This is a permanent contract, 36 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus Inset Days, holidays to be taken in non-term time).

At The Element, as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you'll inspire and empower students to break through barriers and realise their full potential. We are seeking a passionate HLTA to play a key role in integrating Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) into our curriculum. No prior experience with RMT is required - comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
You must be a dedicated professional who:

Key responsibilities:
To complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum in The Element primary designated provision and contribute to the development of other support staff.
To work both independently and collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and pupils in the delivery of Rhythmic Movement Training.
To deliver learning and therapeutic intervention to individuals, small groups and whole classes as and when required within agreed systems of supervision.
To provide support for pupils, the teacher and the Inclusion Team in order to raise standards of achievement for all.
To be a strong advocate for relational practice whilst supporting and empowering our neurodiverse students to be the best version of themselves.
To encourage our neurodiverse pupils to thrive and develop emotional resilience preparing them for the demands of an ever changing society.
