You will advise upon and supervise a sub-set of systems and applications including analysis, design, development, release management, testing and transition and post go-live support either horizontally across services or vertically along a line of business.</p>\n<p>In addition to excellent technical design and architecture skills, this role requires team leadership experience, as the Lead TA manages a blended Design Team of permanent council employees, and contractors from our primary strategic infrastructure partner.</p>\n<p>Additionally, the Lead TA is the organisation’s authority in all technical design matters, setting the direction for other members of the Design Team, and the wider ICT community to follow.</p>\n<p><strong>What you will need;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>ITIL practitioner, expert or equivalent professional ICT qualification or experience.</li>\n<li>Extensive experience of solutions design &amp; technical architecture.</li>\n<li>Experience in line managing teams of Solutions Architects, Technical Architects, and/or Technical Designers.</li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of the full ICT business relationship management and system lifecycles.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of business analysis, change management, project &amp; programme management.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of technical principles, industry best practice and drive to implement exemplary ICT systems through first class design &amp; architecture solutions.</li>\n<li>Experience of continuous improvement planning in ICT.</li>\n<li>Strong and deep technical ICT knowledge in order to work closely and effectively with technical teams in Service Delivery, DevOps, Projects, Applications Support, and ICT Operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.</p>\n<p>This role is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process.</p>\n<p>Previous applicants need not apply.
