We are advertising for two roles, one Community Engagement Manager who will oversee engagement for Journeys projects and one Community Engagement Manager who will oversee engagement for Places projects.<br>\nThe successful candidates will be an experienced facilitator and communicator with skills in best practice community engagement and in working with a multitude of senior stakeholders. They will be strong project managers with the ability to think strategically as well as deliver projects with a high attention to detail. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in the evaluation and reporting on engagement findings data.<br>\nThis role requires a high level of initiative in order to deliver timely, effective and creative engagement with the community in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a high level of personal organisation, a high proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and a willingness to learn and operate internal IT systems.<br>\n<br>\n - Ability to engage, coach and motivate teams and set clear targets and expectations<br>\n - Evidence of high levels of customer service and satisfaction<br>\n - Experience of successfully managing performance and providing clear constructive feedback<br>\n - Experience of successfully implementing plans and projects to time and budget<br>\n - Ability to effectively plan and manage budgets and resources<br>\n - Demonstrates a good understanding of the political structure and role of elected members<br>\n - Ability to work collaboratively both with own service and across other services<br>\n - As a regular and intrinsic part of this role required you to speak to members of the public in English, the ability to converse at ease, politely and courteously with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential and consistent with the requirements of this role<br>\n - Extensive experience in designing and delivering community engagement programmes on high profile projects<br>\n - Extensive experience in group facilitation, public speaking and presentations, and conflict resolution<br>\n - Extensive experience in strategic communications on high profile schemes, including managing communications for controversial projects<br>\n - Experience in managing a multitude of stakeholder relationships with funding partners, suppliers, contractors and senior decision makers<br>\n - Excellent writing skills, including report writing and editing<br>\n - Strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills<br>\n - Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.<br>\n<br>\nIn your supporting statement, please respond to the person specification for the role detailed above, specifically points 9-14.<br>\nThe post holders will need to work in the Enfield Civic Centre for a minimum of three days each week.
