About the team
Due to changes to our structure we are looking for 2 Senior Outreach Workers to join our team.
Our team supports young people who have experienced childhood trauma, and we work with them and their families to help stop young people entering the care system. This work is carried out in the family homes / schools / in the community and on our sites.
You will be part of a team of professionals putting in place intensive care packages to help young people who have complicated needs, to build secure attachments and become self-reliant.
This senior position requires experience and confidence of working with young people and adults, along with leadership and supervision skills.

This is an office and community-based role - with flexible hours to meet the needs of families and service.

As a senior in the team you will be required to:
- Supervise and lead a team of Outreach Workers
- Guide and support workers with complex families
- Develop and upskill staff through role modelling and support
- Provide monthly data on teams outcomes
- Promote resilience and confidence through debriefs, family discussions, supervisions
About you
Essential:
- Experience of working with families and young people.
- Must have good People skills and be approachable.
- Some experience of using leadership skills.
- Resilience and flexibility.
- UK Driving licence and use of vehicle with Business Insurance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends / Bank Holidays (including Christmas and New Year).
- Written and computer skills.
- Level 4 qualification n Residential childcare or equivalent
