You will work alongside public health colleagues within both our Children’s and Young Peoples Public Health team and our Health Improvement team to support the development and implementation of strategies and interventions that tackle health inequalities and target children and young people in most need.
You will contribute to the work around our Oral Health Improvement programme, with a focus on Supervised toothbrushing clubs. You will work with Barnsley Family Hubs, Early Years Settings and Primary schools to increase the uptake of supervised toothbrushing in our borough. You will support with delivering training to settings with the aim of improving awareness of the importance of good oral health.
We are looking for a committed, dynamic and flexible individual with a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Barnsley.
