About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional senior media relations professional to inform the public and stakeholders of the work of the Metro Mayor and Combined Authority (CA), executive team and Cabinet Members and the Combined Authority’s to deliver a globally competitive, environmentally responsible and socially inclusive Liverpool City Region.
Key features of the role include
- •Driving the development and delivery of priority communications and media relations strategies, campaigns and plans.
- •Securing high impact, high-quality, high-volume news, feature and editorial coverage in print, broadcast and online.
- •Promoting the corporate goals of the LCRCA through its leadership communications, supporting policy, funding and economic growth prospects.
- •Working in a collaborative and supportive team environment to deliver the very best quality, modern, innovative and respected communications for the Liverpool City Region.
About the person
We are looking for an experienced media relations professional with a broadcast, social media and/or press journalism background to join our Strategic Communications and Corporate Affairs team in an exciting phase of the development of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
You will have provided credible, sound and strategic media advice to leaders and supported them to explain and promote the work of a major organisation, local authority or Government department.
We are looking to achieve a step change in the perceptions of the Liverpool City Region, including internationally, so that we can deliver our Corporate Plan goals and attract inward investment, global companies and grow our inclusive economy to deliver more opportunities for the people we serve.
