Working alongside experienced Planning specialists and Support Officers, you’ll be responsible for shaping our Planning Support team. Your commitment and ability to solve problems with proactive solutions will inspire confidence throughout the team and the wider planning service.
With a focus on leading on change and effectiveness, you’ll keep working practices under review, using your skills to ensure the service maintains its excellent standards. You’ll be confident in responding to deadlines with excellent communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the service. Your Planning knowledge will guide and support the team with complex queries and aid their development.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
