The work involves tasks associated with funeral services at Barnsley Crematorium and in Cemeteries throughout the borough. This will include, funeral services, cremations, burials, scattering of ashes, removal of flowers, installation of marble plaques and tablets, preparation, cleaning and housekeeping to a high standard within the chapels and grounds. In addition the operation of the councils pet crematorium including the collection and cremation of pets. \nThe post holder will be required to deal with enquiries from funeral directors, celebrants and other visitors.
