The Council is seeking to recruit a full-time permanent Senior Housing Options Officer. You will be responsible for the operational management and delivery of our Housing Options and Homelessness service. Experience of managing a team and working in the field of homelessness would be essential. A driving licence and use of car essential.
You will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Leadership and line management experience
- Leadership competencies, ability to lead and motivate and develop a team
- A working knowledge of landlord and tenant law, housing legislation and benefit regulations
- Willingness and flexibility to work outside normal hours when necessary
- A customer focus
- Comprehensive knowledge of housing & homelessness policy, procedures and legislation.
