The Homelessness Prevention role will join the small team of officers discharging the Councils’ responsibilities to pro-actively prevent and relieve homelessness.  </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have suitable relevant qualifications and experience in a housing related environment.  However where applicants have limited qualifications, training opportunities may be offered.</p>\n<p>The post is offered on a full time, permanent basis (36 hours per week). </p>\n<p>Benefits include 26 – 31 days annual leave (depending on the length of Local Government Service) plus one floating day per annum, local government pension scheme, flexible working hours (including the opportunity to take up to 2 days flexi leave per month), free car parking, free gym membership, cycle to work scheme, free Beryl Bike scheme, and season ticket loans. </p>\n<p><strong><em>Hertsmere is located in southern Hertfordshire – we are 13 miles from Central London and within the M25.  We adjoin Greater London with excellent road and rail links making London and the Home Counties easily accessible.
