About the role
The Finance Business Partner will support a portfolio of services in providing high quality strategic and operational advice to managers, the senior leadership team in those services and to the lead cabinet member. In this key role you will be able to pre-empt financial risks and issues, devising mitigation and solutions. The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in support of the Directorate and the Head of Finance in the development of Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy. This role covers Children’s & Young People Services.
About you
You will have an extensive working knowledge of Children’s and Young Peoples Services or can demonstrate transferable skills having worked in another area that would enable you to operate in a business partnering model to deliver high quality support. You will have a relevant professional accountancy qualification and through post qualification experience will be able to demonstrate from that you have the necessary skills to undertake the opportunity that is available as Finance Business Partner.
