About the role
In this new post you will provide cover for an internal secondment. You will provide Housing Related Support to Refugee households in temporary accommodation. This will include regular visits to service users to provide support and monitor wellbeing as well as signposting to services which may provide additional or specialist support.
This will include supporting them to ensure a smooth, supported move-on process from allocation of temporary accommodation through to potential discharge of duty into secure accommodation.
About you
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients.
You must be educated to A Level or NVQ Level 3 equivalent standard and/or with previous experience of working in social or supported housing service environment with vulnerable and homeless groups. Experience of work with Refugee groups would be advantageous.
Experience of working within a front-line service and a commitment to high quality customer care is essential for this post.
