You will have a good understanding of the public sector role in delivering housing retrofit and the ability to develop and co-ordinate intelligence and data to inform housing retrofit strategy, policy and project development.  </p>\n<p>Your primary focus will be to develop, support and lead delivery of housing retrofit projects, working closely with Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).</p>\n<p>You will work in partnership with the six constituent Local Authorities, registered providers and other key partners across Liverpool City Region to provide technical expertise and oversee project development - guiding project teams to deliver projects in line with LCRCA strategies and public funding reporting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the person</strong></p>\n<p>Essential skills and knowledge for this role:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>•‍A subject relevant degree or equivalent or considerable experience within relevant housing or sustainability areas</li>\n<li>•‍Experience within the housing or green industry and bidding for, reporting on and delivering public funded projects</li>\n<li>•‍Demonstrate a broad understanding of the residential market in the local area</li>\n<li>•‍Experience of financial management</li>\n<li>•‍Experience of managing programme/project teams, motivating staff and working across organisations to deliver quality outcomes</li>\n<li>•‍Experience of developing strategic relationships across stakeholders and at all levels in order to persuade, negotiate and influence</li>\n<li>•‍Good written and oral presentation skills with ability to present complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible way</li>\n<li>•‍Strong ICT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office</li>\n<li>•‍Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work flexibly as and when required</li>\n<li>•‍Ability to attend meetings inside and outside the city region</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>If you think you match the job description and our values then click on the link to apply, indicating how you meet the person specification.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the organisation</strong></p>\n<p>The Liverpool City Region is world-famous for its history, culture and creativity.
