The Community, Business, Work and Skills department have a fixed term post for 9 months, for the Employment, Work and Skills Coordinator. The post will be involved in some exciting opportunities to shape the work and skills agenda for the district, that is guaranteed to make a difference in resident lives and the business sector. The role will also be supporting the delivery of the Economic Development Framework and action plans.
You will be working as part of a fast paced and focused team of dedicated professionals. Our Employment, Work and Skills Coordinator is a key member of the department in delivering on a number of different projects, such as the jobs fair, organising work experience placements and supporting residents back into work. This is a great opportunity to be part of the work of Community, Business Work and Skills Team.
This role will require a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check (known as a DBS check). All offers of employment will be made conditional upon receipt of the satisfactory DBS check.
