About Belmont Park School
Belmont Park is a specialist school for students aged 11–16, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and primary needs linked to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH). Many
students also present with co-occurring diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, anxiety.
We are a trauma-informed, relational school community where staff are committed to evidence-based
approaches, meaningful connection with learners, and a relentless drive for progress.

The Role
As Deputy Headteacher, you will
● Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping the strategic direction of the school
● Lead on the development of the curriculum, pastoral systems and behaviour, or other key areas
of school improvement as needed.
● Promote a culture of high expectations and positive relationships.
● Champion inclusive, trauma informed practice and ensure consistency across the school.
● Work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for our
learners.
