Are you ready to take a key role in delivering Disabled Facilities Grants and improving private sector housing standards? We are at the forefront of public health, delivering actual improvements to people’s lives on a daily basis and ensuring private sector accommodation is safe to live in. We're seeking proactive and adaptable individuals to join our team and make a real difference within our communities.
Role Overview:
To promote independence within the homes of disabled and vulnerable residents by administering the Disabled Facility Grant and Discretionary Assistance process. You will form relationships with customers, contractors, landlords and other agencies to ensure customers’ needs are understood and met in a way that ensures for a safe and dignified environment to remain independent. You will also undertake housing inspections associated with Houses in Multiple Occupation and complaints.
