Active listening is essential, as you will incorporate children’s views into service planning.</p>\n<p>To qualify, you should hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Services, or an equivalent qualification. Relevant experience working with children or young adults, ideally with disabilities, is also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential, along with a sensitive approach to the needs of children and their families.</p>\n<p>This position involves a shift rota, including early and late shifts, some sleep-ins, and weekends.
