We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated tutors to work on a range of courses including:</p><ul>\n<li>Functional Skills English</li>\n<li>Functional Skills Maths</li>\n<li>Introduction to Customer Service</li>\n<li>Employability</li>\n</ul><p>As a Tutor for 16- to 19-year-olds, you will develop and deliver our curriculum in partnership with colleagues, the community, learners, and other professionals.</p><p>Our aim is to support inclusion and enable residents to access and participate in high-quality learning and training to achieve their potential.</p><p>You will be required to deliver Functional Skills maths from entry level 1 to level 2 as well as non- accredited maths courses.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>If you hold or are working towards a teaching qualification in Maths and have experience of teaching adult learners who are 16 to 19 years of age, we would like to hear from you.</p><p>We are looking for tutors who can communicate clearly, have attention to detail, and who can plan and draw together a range of activities for their learners.</p><p>This is an enhanced DBS role where you will understand safeguarding and working with vulnerable children and/or adults, creating inclusive and safe learning environments.</p><p>You will need an understanding of the requirements of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), Ofsted and the needs of the communities in West Sussex.</p><p>For more information on the Key Skills, Qualifications and/or Experience required, please refer to the Job Description attached.
