The times of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 9.00am and 3.15pm - 3.45pm (variable to meet the needs of the service).<br></p>\n<p>Our School Crossing patrol operatives are essential to keeping local communities and pedestrians safe.</p>\n<p>Operatives are fundamental to ensuring the safety of children and other pedestrians when crossing in designated positions in congested areas throughout the borough.</p>\n<p>The post involves daily responsibilities including operating hazard warning lights on commencement of duty, controlling pedestrian movement while assisting them across the road and reporting any traffic incidents. Making A Difference as A School Crossing Patrol Operative in our Schools
