You will have significant experience in this field, be able to work with a network of organisations and individuals to encourage arts participation in areas of low engagement with a creative approach.</p>\n<p>You will be committed to the sector, have a passion for the transformational potential of culture and share our ambition to be excellent.</p>\n<p>This is a maternity cover role for up to 1-year.</p>\n<p><strong>Your role in our journey</strong></p>\n<p>As a Formal Learning and Access Officer, you’ll support the delivery of our Formal Learning programme across Barnsley Museums’ venues. You will develop and deliver engaging and curriculum focussed workshops and resources both at our sites and in schools. Working with our Local Cultural Education Partnership and BMBC partners, you’ll work to ensure children and young people across the Borough have access to inspiring cultural opportunities. You will also lead on our access offer, ensuring our venues are as inclusive and accessible as they can be. Every day, you’ll make a difference, in line with our strategic vision for the Museums.
