The Role:
- Liverpool City Council currently operate the Tourist Information Centre and as such are looking to recruit a dynamic Information Adviser with experience of delivering a customer focused service to within a tourism related environment
- As a Visitor Information Adviser, you will contribute to the efficient day to day operation of the Information Desk ensuring outstanding levels of service and contributing to achieving service targets
- The ability to develop positive working relationships with a wide range of people and to work under pressure is essential to this role, as is experience of Epos till systems and dealing with the public
- The needs of our Tourist Information Centre are fluid; working in this role is not always a 9am-5pm / Monday to Friday role. You agree to work flexibly over a 7-day week when required, which may include unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays; this will be allocated on a roster basis. You may be required to work across multiple sites depending on business needs
This role is Fixed Term for 7 months to support the delivery of the service during the cruise calls and city events from March to October.
