As a Reablement Night Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives and wellbeing of the people of Barnsley, ensuring they can remain at home and enjoy a higher quality of life. Our service provides a wide range of offers, including Night Service support, and assists people with new technology to help them remain at home. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people of all ages, including those in end-of-life situations, to stay at home and avoid unnecessary steps up in care.
Your Role in Our Journey
As a Support Worker, you will acquire the skills and knowledge needed to help people remain at home. Our service operates seven days a week, including bank holidays, with core hours from 11 pm to 6 am. We need dedicated individuals who can commit to these hours and understand the importance of working independently within the community.
What You’ll Need
To join our team, you must have the ability to engage with vulnerable people and build collaborative working relationships with their personal support networks, partner agencies, and services. Flexibility is essential to meet the demands of the service. As our service spans the entire Borough, a driving license and car are required.
