This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Council’s Safer Neighbourhood Service manging a diverse range of projects across multiple funding streams. You will be working with multiple stakeholders and partners, maximising opportunities for new projects, submitting bids, monitoring and providing comprehensive financial reporting across multiple projects and initiatives.
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised, flexible and committed individual with exceptional attention to detail to help ensure that Barnsley remains at the forefront of innovative multi-agency practice and a place of possibilities.
What you will need
You will have experience of project/program management and delivery, experience of managing funding streams and maximising income and value for money. You will need to hold a level 6 qualification and demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
You must be willing to undertake a police vetting process in line with local and national requirements.
You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, working together with colleagues and in partnership with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
