We have a great opportunity available for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways Team at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full time, permanent basis.
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in producing fully costed, analytical estimates for a range of highways works undertaken by the Highways service area, working with other teams in Highways and the Division to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to the delivery of services.
You will be verifying and reporting on the execution of the work and confirming stage work accomplished, progress etc.
The Quantity Surveyor role will ensure that the main contracts are delivering value for money through close working with the Contract Manager. Working independently and proactively will be required to deliver better outcomes for the council in conjunction with colleagues and contract managers, as necessary.
