Job introduction

Hours of work: 14 hours per week (3-6pm Monday to Thursday 3-5pm Friday)
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the role

Stone Cross School is a popular 2 form entry school on the outskirts of Eastbourne. We are looking to recruit a fun and enthusiastic person to join our staff at our After School Club as soon as possible. Experience of working with 4-11 year olds is preferred but not essential.

The hours of work will be 14 hours (3-6pm Monday to Thursday 3-5pm Friday. 

You will be required to:

• Join a team of club assistants and promote learning through play.
• Care for the children until collected and ensure the club is a safe environment for the children.
• Join in and provide a high quality of activities.
• Oversee the provision of refreshments once food hygiene trained.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
