We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Cook (30 hours per week) to join our Parklands Short Breaks Team, you will work on a rota basis, providing healthy meals for children and young people who have a learning disability and complex health needs.
The successful post holder will be responsible for Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations within the kitchen and surrounding areas. Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) procedures when receiving, presenting, and delivering the meals.
You will undertake a variety of manual tasks associated with food preparation and delivery of service and must hold a current Food Hygiene Certificate. This will include stock rotation, meal planning and the ordering of products online.
You will have demonstrable experience in planning, cooking, and presenting meals in a work setting, whilst taking into account the children’s special dietary needs and food allergies.
