Salary: £27,423- £28,638 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 36 hours per week or 20 hours per week
Basis: Fixed Term Contract (2 Years)

About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated person who can work in our Recycling and Cleansing team, supporting the delivery of our statutory services and associated project work.
Working with operational managers and other business support officers, you will use your excellent administrative, customer service and IT skills to support the Council’s recycling services to residents, commercial customers and developers.
Using your IT skills, you will work alongside the primary system administrator for the waste collection software (Bartec). You will also support IT specialists in the development of the system.
Some of the duties include:
- Dealing with enquiries from residents, developers, and commercial customers, both by phone, email or letter.
- Advising on the disposal of refuse and recycling, in line with government legislation.
- Managing the trade waste account, invoicing, non-payments, collection schedules.
- Managing the Garden waste membership database
- Administering refunds.

About the Person
- Excellent written, spoken communications and IT skills are essential.
- Experience of working on projects would be an advantage.
- You will need to be comfortable and confident with internal and external audiences.
- You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
