This is having a positive outcome for many children and their families’ </p>\n<p>About you…<br>•    Educated to NVQ L3<br>•    Good motivational skills and experience of supporting Children in care planning processes and development of their independence skills<br>•    Knowledge and experience of working with Care Leavers and able to provide support, advice and guidance in education, employment, training opportunities<br>•    Significant understanding of pathway planning with Care Leavers<br>•    Experience of using ASDAN programme to enable Care Leaver to grow their independence skills<br>•    Understand immigration legislation and able to support our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and Care Leavers</p>\n<p>Our vision is for all children and young people in Rutland to be happy, safe and successful. Duties will include:<br>•    Assisting Social Workers and others in the implementation of assessment, intervention and pathway plans<br>•    To consult with care leavers in service planning and support them to develop their skills and confidence to make representations in various forums <br>•    Supporting care leavers with housing and other needs<br>•    To keep accurate records on young people and update information systems <br>•    To assist in the production of reports as required</p>\n<p>The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.</p>\n<p>Please note you will need to have a driving licence to enable you to travel around the county. </p>\n<p>The Personal Advisor to Care Leavers interviews will be held on 16 January 2025.
