We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in leadership and management, who can inspire and motivate our team, and who is dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. Your ability to navigate complex challenges with strategic insight and your passion for people focused services will be key to your success in this role.
The Area Commander / Head of Service roles call for an experienced and collaborative leader who takes a creatively pragmatic approach to shaping the future of public services. A track record of motivating and supporting a diverse workforce to be the best they can, will be required for success.
Operating with integrity and openness, you will need to have the confidence and credibility to engage and lead colleagues, impacting positively on partners and wider stakeholders.
You will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to lead service delivery in a complex public sector organisation and have the potential to operate as part of the Strategic Command team for the County Council's Fire & Rescue Service.
