Ashfield District Council's Digital Transformation programme is an exciting opportunity to deliver digital change. It’s an exciting time to join us. We're searching for people-focused digital advocates to join our growing team. We’re focused on improving services for our residents and making our council truly digital. We are looking for a Digital Workplace Officer to join the team who will work collaboratively with colleagues across the whole organisation to deliver this.

 

The post holder will design, develop and deliver digital solutions and associated learning content and training programs. This will include web applications built in-house using various coding disciplines and new and existing council digital solutions. This role involves collaborating with other members of the digital team to develop and improve the efficiency of applications.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience to work in a fast paced and diverse environment, where the opportunity to ‘make a difference’ is ever present.

 

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation that the successful candidate will travel when required but the organisation does utilise Microsoft Teams and Outlook for meetings and communication where appropriate.
