Job title: Procurement Business Partner

Salary: £49,764 – £54,916 per annum

Location: Cunard Building, Liverpool, L3 1AH

The roles: 

We are seeking to appoint outstanding Procurement Business Partners in the following areas: 

• Adult Social Care and Children’s Social Care
• Neighbourhoods and City Development
• Corporate (including Culture and ICT)

Experience of supporting similar areas in a procurement setting would be great. However, above all else, we are looking for high quality procurement professionals with a desire to make a real difference. 

Key responsibilities:

• As a Procurement Business Partner, you will provide a business partner approach to support the development and delivery of a strategic sourcing pipeline for your defined category areas
• Our Procurement Business Partners are responsible for devising appropriate procurement strategies, in line with relevant organisational plans and policies. 
• The role of Procurement Business Partner involves engaging with stakeholders at all levels to support the delivery of projects on time and within defined budgets
• As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be required to provide comprehensive, relevant, and high value insights into all procurement and commercial aspects for your specific category areas
• Procurement Business Partners lead the development of high value relations with our suppliers and enable Liverpool City Council to maximise the value it extracts from its commercial partnerships

Liverpool City Council is embarking on an exciting transformation programme which has led to significant investment in our Commercial Procurement Unit. As a result, we are recruiting to a range of new positions and are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join us.
