The role is varied and interesting and includes researching information for Valuers and external enquiries relating to land and property assets owned by the council, co-ordinating new lettings and vacant property, negotiating wayleaves, access and licenses for a variety of issues including compounds, parking and short-term use.<strong><br><br></strong></p>\n<p>We want our people to be the best they can and to give them a platform from which they can deliver the highest quality services to our residents, external customers, external partners, and internal customers.   <span> <br><br></span></p>\n<p>Key areas of responsibility include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Support the development of a new asset management software database, to ensure the system is managed, maintained, and developed effectively and efficiently, taking advantage of the opportunities presented by digital transformation including training team members in the use of this database.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide timely and relevant responses to Freedom of information requests.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide non-confidential Asset data as required to meet government directives relating to Local Authority Asset Data Transparency Directives.  </span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure complete and accurate financial management on behalf of the service, including raising of invoices, rent reconciliations, debt management and supporting budget management and forecasting as well as leading year end close-down of accounts.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p>You’ll be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability.
