We are looking for a highly motivated experienced customer service professional with a passion for customer service to join our Customer Services Management Team. You will need to be a strong communicator and a good team player with excellent IT skills. Our Customer Service Centre (CSC) provides a wide range of services which can be accessed by telephone through our call centre, in person at our visitor centre, by email or via the Council’s website.
Working with the other Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the CSC.
You will develop and support a team of CSC Representatives managing the daily allocation of CSC staff to meet the business demands in all areas. Supporting staff and managing performance and training.
Applicants will ideally have experience in line management and in dealing with the public directly in a service provider environment. Previous experience as a team leader or manager in a call centre or local authority would be an advantage. You will need to be flexible to work shifts across our opening hours of 8.30am–5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm Friday.
