In particular you will lead on improving processes relating to Tree Preservation Orders and Tree Replacement Notices. \nYou will need to have experience of assessing trees for Tree Preservation Orders, and a solid understanding of relevant arboricultural legislation. The role operates with a degree of autonomy so you will also be a team player who can operate on their own initiative. If you are passionate and committed about trees, landscapes, environment and communities, then we want to hear from you.\nYou will be contributing to the achievement of the Council’s corporate vision, behaviours and priorities and the development of the Council’s positive high performing culture.\nIn return, we offer excellent office accommodation five minutes’ walk from Epsom railway station, heavily subsidised parking if needed, and an attractive salary.
