As a support worker you will have the opportunity to have a positive impact and improve the quality of life of our young people. Our young people develop independence through life skills and have fun taking part in activities accessing Legoland, Tapnell Farm, IOW Zoo, Blackgang Chine, Amazon World, Marwell Zoo and much more.</p>\n<p>This role is suitable for anyone who has a passion for supporting young people with developing independence and enriching their lives through activities and experiences. Our staff team come from all different backgrounds and levels of experience. Some have lots of experience in the care or social sector and some come with no experience. We offer a wide range of training opportunities to support our staff team with their own personal development. We take pride in supporting new staff members in gaining the necessary qualifications and skills for you to be able to succeed in your role. Working within the council will also give you the opportunity to progress further into a career in Social Care.
