We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work as our Senior Estates Surveyor. Leading a small team of estates professionals, you will have responsibility for the effective management of council land and property assets. In this varied and interesting role, you will deliver the council’s new Property Asset Management Plan which entails reviewing all current property holdings, undertaking negotiations for the sale, purchase or letting of properties, managing properties and carrying out or procuring property asset valuations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Proven expertise in strategic asset management, estate management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of RICS standards, with experience in capital asset valuation.
- A RICS accredited degree or diploma in Estate Management.
- Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Effective negotiation skills for property transactions, and familiarity with regulatory compliance.
- Excellent team leadership and programme management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills to oversee asset data and make informed decisions.
